Thing 2

I wanted this to be a learning experience & it looks like it will be. My goal is to find out what 2.0, Flickr, RSS, etc. are all about. After reading & viewing the materials attached to Thing 2 I think I'll be happy w/ just an introduction to these new ideas. There are so many new ideas & technologies that are emerging now--it's exciting to move into new territories--& scary.

I love the Internet & the ability to find information, but it can be the biggest time waster in the world. It is so easy to get distracted by another thought or lead deeper into a subject than you need to know. If I am going embrace these new ideas I will have to do it s-l-o-w-l-y so I don't get overwhelmed by it all. Enough for today...but I do have lots to think about.
